1. Definitions
- “We,” “us,” or “our” refers to Canada Student Storage.
- “Customer” or “you” refers to anyone who accesses our website or uses our services.
- “Items” refers to goods, belongings, or property stored with us.
2. Services Provided
We offer storage solutions, including the pickup, secure storage, and delivery of your belongings. Additional services may include providing storage boxes, tape, or packing materials as outlined on our website.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Packing: You are responsible for securely packing your items in a manner suitable for transport and storage. Fragile items should be packed with adequate padding to prevent damage.
- Prohibited Items: You agree not to store illegal items, flammable or hazardous materials, perishables, or items of extraordinary value (e.g., cash, jewelry, or important documents).
- Accurate Information: Provide accurate details, including pickup and delivery addresses, contact information, and inventory of items stored.
4. Pickup and Delivery
- Scheduling: All pickups and deliveries must be scheduled through our platform. Changes to appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Missed Appointments: If you miss a scheduled pickup or delivery without prior notice, additional fees may apply.
5. Storage Policies
- Access: While items are in storage, access to them is restricted. Requests for retrieval must follow our standard scheduling and service guidelines.
- Duration: Storage services are provided on a monthly basis. Extensions must be arranged before the term expires.
6. Payment and Fees
- Pricing: All pricing is outlined on our website. Additional fees may apply for extra services or late payments.
- Payment Schedule: Payment is due upon booking, and recurring charges will be processed monthly.
- Late Payments: Late payments may incur penalties, and unpaid accounts after 30 days may result in forfeiture of stored items.
7. Liability and Insurance
- Limited Liability: We are not responsible for damage to improperly packed items, normal wear and tear, or events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters).
- Insurance: Customers are encouraged to carry their own insurance for stored items. While we take reasonable precautions, we do not provide comprehensive coverage for loss or damage.
8. Termination of Service
- By Customer: You may terminate your storage agreement by providing written notice and settling any outstanding balances.
- By Us: We reserve the right to terminate services if terms are violated or payments remain unpaid.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Customers are prohibited from:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
- Using our services to store prohibited or illegal items.
- Providing false or misleading information.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide services to you will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
